Appetizer
When was the last time you received a surprise in the mail, and what was it?

The mail has brought a few surprises recently. 

 A beautiful recipe binder from my blogbuddy in Canada

A 70 dollar gift card appeared before Christmas; it was such a pleasure opening an envelope that wasn’t advertising or a bill.

I also received several snailmail Christmas cards from blogbuddies that were just beautiful.

My online friends are the best.

Soup
If you could have a summer and/or winter home, where would you want it to be?

Since I totally can not stand cold weather anymore, my winter home would have to be somewhere warm.

It would also have to have lots of public transportation, since I never learned to drive.

Looks like I need to do some online research - you never know when a winning lottery ticket might turn up

Salad
Pick one: pineapple, orange, banana, apple, cherry.

Too hard.  I love pineapple juice, orange candy slices, banana cream pie, apple tart and cherry pie.

Main Course
Describe the nicest piece of clothing that you own.

My best summer dress is my china blue silk Anne Klein.  It has an intricate pattern of leaves and flowers, all in china blue silk thread, woven directly into the fabric.  The waist is dropped, and the sleeves and skirt are like petals.  I’ve had it over 15 years, but it never looks out of style.

My best winter outfit is a black suit that has thick soft velvet ties instead of buttons on the jacket.  It has an interesting cut to it that gives it a touch of Asian flair.

My best evening dress is a two piece concoction.  The underdress is jade green and floor length.  The over coat is a lighter shade of green with an abstract pattern of gold and hot pink. 

Dessert
If you could forget one whole day from your life, which day would you choose to wipe from your memory?

This past summer I got on the phone, and told off a friend that had it coming for a long time.  If I could back I would have handled it differently.  Then again we eventually made up, and we’ve both become more flexible.
