My hair’s natural color is dirty blonde with a dash of silver. I henna my hair every month or two, so it’s a fiery auburn that I really like.

Last week. Our daughter had some medical tests, and we were waiting for the results. Everything turned out okay.

A 70 dollar gift card appeared before Christmas; it was such a pleasure opening an envelope that wasn’t advertising or a bill.
I also received several snailmail Christmas cards from blogbuddies that were just beautiful.

If you could have a summer and/or winter home, where would you want it to be?
Since I totally can not stand cold weather anymore, my winter home would have to be somewhere warm.
It would also have to have lots of public transportation, since I never learned to drive.

Too hard. I love pineapple juice, orange candy slices, banana cream pie, apple tart and cherry pie.

Describe the nicest piece of clothing that you own.
My best summer dress is my china blue silk Anne Klein. It has an intricate pattern of leaves and flowers, all in china blue silk thread, woven directly into the fabric. The waist is dropped, and the sleeves and skirt are like petals. I’ve had it over 15 years, but it never looks out of style.
My best winter outfit is a black suit that has thick soft velvet ties instead of buttons on the jacket. It has an interesting cut to it that gives it a touch of Asian flair.
My best evening dress is a two piece concoction. The underdress is jade green and floor length. The over coat is a lighter shade of green with an abstract pattern of gold and hot pink.

If you could forget one whole day from your life, which day would you choose to wipe from your memory?
This past summer I got on the phone, and told off a friend that had it coming for a long time. If I could back I would have handled it differently. Then again we eventually made up, and we’ve both become more flexible.

10 - I celebrate my birthday for at least a week. This year I’ll be 46, and I’m going to party like a rock star.

A lot would depend on the type of book. My husband and daughter are a given, but I know that certain friends would be remembered depending on the subject.

Pom - it’s an iced tea that comes in it’s own glass. I like the pomegranate and peach flavor. It costs around $3.50 for one serving, but it’s so worth it.

Living in New york you don’t see too many really scary situations. We’ve had torrential rains that knocked out the subways for a few hours.
I am not a fan of snow; I’m afraid of slipping on the ice that hides beneath it.

England. I’ve always wanted to go and I speak the language!

What is your favorite type of art?
I love to do my own personal writing like blogs, essays, journals and memoir, as well as read the work of others.
Digital photography is my late in life passion.
I could go to the theatre every night to see a play, and hopefully one day soon I’ll be on stage myself.
It’s a goal of mine to finish writing a series of short plays I’ve been working on for a while now. I have a friend helping me work on them now. I also want to produce, direct and co-star in them.
I’m not looking to make playwriting/acting a career, but I want to do this one project.

What is the most exciting event you’ve ever witnessed?
The birth of my daughter. Wow after she emerged into the world I felt I such burst of energy. I could have flown if I tried. Then I passed out and slept for 14 hours.

I would find small privately owned businesses and make free personal appearances. This way the stores could attract lots of new customers. I think it is very important to support the small businessman.

I think 28 is a good age. A person would have completed their education and/or traveled a bit.

Wake up just before alarm goes off. Ignore alarm. Lie there for about a half hour, then crawl out of bed and head for bathroom. Bath, brush teeth and think about what to wear. Sit on edge of bed and think a bit more. Dress myself, head for fridge to take vitamins. Dry hair, put on shoes, load pockets with cell phone, Metro Card, bus fare and keys. Grab handbag and head out door to subway.
